The Beatles brand continues its slide into commercial whoredom with a new collection of clothing from English Laundry inspired by the lyrics of Lennon/McCartney. The Beatles are not mentioned anywhere on the website, which is probably a clever way to avoid having to pay out money to Ringo and the estate of the late great George Harrison.
There was a time when the acquiring the rights to Beatles music for advertising was considered the holy grail. Now, not so much...
Oh well.
